Curzon Ashton v Harrogate Town, 3pm– Non-League Day, Saturday October 7th 2017.

With the international break halting play for the Premier League and Championship, Non-League day returns for its eighth consecutive season.

This year Curzon Ashton are delighted to be joining forces with local schools to give young people in Tameside the opportunity to visit the Tameside Stadium for free as the Nash take on Harrogate Town on Saturday October 7th.

Over 5000 tickets will be delivered this week to schools in Tameside, the ticket will allow each child free entry as well as half price admission for the accompanying adult.

Natalie Atkinson, Curzon Ashton’s CEO commented;

“We are delighted to be giving so many young people the opportunity to visit us and experience Non-League football, no matter who you support we would love to welcome you to the Tameside Stadium.”

“We encourage all the schools and pupils to make their own Curzon themed banners, flags and posters to bring to the game and represent their school.”

This week Curzon’s goalkeeper, Cameron Mason visited Ravensfield primary school in Dukinfield to deliver their allocation of tickets;

Cameron said,

“Non-League Day is a great opportunity for people to get behind their local club and also see what a good standard of football we have to offer in Non-League.”

Head teacher at Ravensfield Primary, Bev Allford, also commented;

“We have a really positive long-term relationship with Curzon Ashton, the children are developing and learning in school through sessions with Curzon Ashton coaches, Non-League day will be a great opportunity for the children to visit the Tameside Stadium and watch the professionals, they are really excited!”
