More than 40 guests enjoyed a Bromleys networking event for child care professionals held in Manchester city centre.
The gathering, at Artisan Kitchen and Bar in Spinningfields, had a Rugby World Cup theme helped raise much needed funds for The Christie, which is Bromleys’ chosen charity for 2015.
Bromleys’ child care team organises an annual networking event for professionals from across a range of disciplines and members of the judiciary who are all involved in child care matters.
This year’s event featured a Rugby World Cup sweepstake and a raffle with prizes donated by a variety of Greater Manchester businesses.
Our thanks go to Artisan Kitchen and Bar and Avalanche Restaurant & Bar in Manchester, Boots, Thorntons, The Perfume Gallery, florist Cullens in Ashton-under-Lyne and Wigan Warriors for donating prizes.
The proceeds of the event will go to The Christie’s Teenage and Young Adult Treatment Centre.
Bromleys’ specialist child care team advises on all matters involving children, including residence and contract disputes, child abduction, care proceedings and special guardianship orders.
Olivia Bell, a senior solicitor in the team, said: “The function was well-attended and enjoyed by everyone. As well as providing a welcome networking opportunity, it raised funds for The Christie and awareness of the tremendous work carried out at the Teenage and Young Adult Treatment Centre.
“We are also grateful to those local businesses which gave support by donating raffle prizes.”
