With women accounting for over 80% of our entire team and the firm’s leadership, supporting women to succeed in business has always been a priority for us at Bromleys. We have been proudly running ‘Tameside Women in Business’ events for several years and are passionate about providing space for women in enterprise to share their achievements, struggles and knowledge with each other.
For International Women’s Day 2024, we are thrilled to be joining forces with GM Business Growth Hub, Tameside Council & Build a Business to deliver a Brunch and Learn Event in Tameside, because who doesn’t love a brunch! Joined by Civic Mayor of Tameside, Cllr Tafheen Sharif, we’re hoping that this will be an excellent opportunity for women to get together, network and celebrate their achievements. There will also be an opportunity to find out about and access fully funded business support from the GM Business Growth Hub.
The day will be kicking off with a Net-walk to the venue before the event, giving attendees the chance to start their day with some fresh air and the opportunity to network while having a nice stroll around town. From there, we’ll be treating attendees to food and drinks, presentations and speeches, and a visit from some Tameside students studying construction that will be speaking about their experiences.
With the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day being ‘Inspire Inclusion’, we’re hoping to welcome a wide range of women from all types of businesses across the UK to celebrate with us.
The event will be held at Tameside One Restaurant from 10am-1pm on March 8th 2024, with the Net-walk starting at 9:30.
