Laura Stansfield, the head of Bromleys’ Wills, Probate and Planning for the Future department, has been accredited as an associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
SFE is a national association of independent lawyers who specialise in older client law and are trained in older client care.
Laura, who heads a six-strong team at Bromleys, has gained the SFE Older Client Care in Practice Award.
She passed a wide-ranging assessment to gain the qualification, which tested her legal knowledge and her skills in understanding how to provide the best support to older and vulnerable clients and to act in their best interests.
It marks the first step towards Laura’s goal of becoming a full member of SFE.
Laura said: “I’m thrilled to have passed the assessment to become an associate member of SFE.
“It’s pleasing to be recognised in the field of older client care and I now look forward to progressing towards full membership of the organisation.”
