“What would be your perfect Christmas Day by Bromleys’ Paul Westwell”

You can’t beat a traditional Christmas day and for the Westwell family, the day would start with an early rise (no doubt earlier than the current 5:30am!), followed immediately by present opening and a spot of breakfast before heading out for a walk around Saddleworth in our obligatory Christmas outfits, with bikes and trikes! Then it’s back home to light the fire and hot chocolate and marshmallows all round.

Dinner all prepped, Christmas songs on in the background (too much Michael Bublé for my liking) whilst watching the children open any remaining presents that survived the morning. Play time with the children followed by visits from the family before dinner is served. Then  time to relax with a Christmas quiz and games. It’s really the simple things in life that we cherish the most by coming together to celebrate this special day with our nearest and dearest.

Once the children are in bed I might indulge in a port before a snooze in front of the fire.
