Rachael Frankland

Rachael Frankland is a Senior Associate and Head of the Dispute Resolution Team splitting her time between the Employment and Dispute Resolution Team.

Rachael undertook her training with Bromleys, qualifying in 2014,  gaining experience in all of the departments here. Upon qualification, she realised that she enjoyed more contentious practices and is therefore providing valuable support to these departments.

Dispute Resolution

Rachael has experience in the following areas:

• Will Disputes and Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;
• Debt collection;
• Contractual disputes;
• Disputes between landlords and tenants, both residential and commercial;
• Professional negligence claims;
• Neighbour disputes; and
• Advising upon bankruptcy and insolvency and disputes arising from these.

Employment

Rachael has a keen interest and deep knowledge of the ever-changing area of Employment Law and to date has been involved in the following areas:

• TUPE;
• Unfair dismissal;
• Discrimination
• Wrongful dismissal;
• Drafting and advising upon Settlement Agreements for both employers and employees;
• Drafting and advising upon contracts of employment and staff handbooks
• Advising upon HR matters; and
• Enforcement of restrictive covenants.

General

In 2016, Rachael became a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Rachael also works closely with the Corporate & Commercial Services team.  Her work is subject to overall supervision by the firm’s Managing Partner Paul Westwell.
