Karah Lane is an Associate Solicitor in the Care Proceedings and Children Services Team.  She graduated in 2005 and qualified in 2007 and has previously held roles at FDR Solicitors.

Karah is a highly experienced and a well-respected solicitor within all aspects of law relating to children however specialises in Care Proceedings.

She regularly assists and advises parents, extending family members and children in Care Proceedings across the North West, Wales and Midlands in all levels of the Family Court. These cases often have elements of neglect, physical, emotional, sexual abuse, domestic abuse and serious non-accidental injuries.

Karah has also regularly represented clients with learning disabilities and mental health difficulties and has acted in high profiles cases. She is a member of the Law Society Children’s Law Accreditation Scheme, which enables her to be on a panel of solicitors who are able to represent children directly or indirectly through their Guardians. This has included proceedings in relation to deprivation of liberty and secure accommodation applications in the high court.
