TWIBs November 2024 Event

Tameside Women in Business (TWIBs) returns today for our third event of 2024!  

Following an incredibly successful start to 2024 in April and a huge turnout for our second event in June, we are back with another inspiring session being held today at The Restaurant @ Tameside One in Ashton-under-Lyne. Hosting today’s event will be Louise Nolan, Practice Manager & Associate at Bromleys. 

Our first guest speaker will be Eve Sheppard, who is a professional learning mentor for Digital Innovation, she has been a digital champion in further education for over 20 years. Eve will be looking at how to promote the responsible use of AI in education and the challenges and changes that this brings. 

Our second guest to speak will be Lilly Parr, who is an extended reality (XR) specialist and advocate for innovative technology integration in education. Lilly has spent much of her time leading numerous workshops and community-centred projects bridging the gap between traditional and digital art forms. 

Our final guest speaker will be Pam Mistry, who is a business innovation advisor, she has built a versatile career on youth support, entrepreneurship and business innovation. Pam supports local businesses by implementing strategies around innovation for new project development.Our guests will be treated to an exceptional lunch, prepared and served by the outstanding catering and hospitality students at The Restaurant at Tameside One.
