Our third Tameside Women in Business (TWIBs) returned last week for our final event of 2024!
Las Thursday, we heard fantastic talks from three distinguished guests discussing AI and Innovation and the impact this can have on businesses in our communities.
With 50 attendees, the event was hosted by our wonderful Practice Manager & Associate, Louise Nolan at The Restaurant @ Tameside One in Ashton-under-Lyne for a fabulous lunch and to hear the thoughts and expertise of our guest speakers.
Our guest speakers were Eve Sheppard, learning mentor for Digital Innovation. Lilly Parr, an extended reality (XR) specialist and advocate for innovative technology integration in education and Pam Mistry, a business innovation advisor who has built a varied career on youth support and entrepreneurship.
Eve works centres around the use of AI technology and how this can be used responsibly in education and the challenges and changes this may be bring.
Lilly has spent much of her career leading numerous workshops and community-centred projects bridging the gap between traditional and digital art forms.
Pam supports local businesses by implementing innovation strategies for project development.
A huge thank you to our excellent guest speakers and attendees for joining us, giving everyone an opportunity to share ideas, expertise and knowledge to better understand the impact of AI in professional spaces.
We would like to also thank Louise and everyone else for their efforts for helping organise and a big shoutout to The Restaurant @ Tameside One for hosting us.
